Volunteer
Volunteer efforts support the work of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Tallahassee,
There are lots of ongoing opportunities to volunteer in the congregation, such as: teaching children’s programs, serving refreshments, providing refreshments, ushering, serving on a team or committee, and lots more.
Some of the ways UUCT members volunteer in the wider community include the food bank distribution at Manna on Meridian and the shelter meals program at the Kearney Center.

Laundry Services
A helping hand (or two) is needed for laundering the dishtowels, cleaning cloths, and table cloths that are used at the church. The church does not have a washer or a dryer, so the items need to be laundered off-site. The dirty linen is collected in a hamper located on the side of the fridge…

Playground Safety Monitor
The playgrounds at UUCT are used by many children, but are not monitored on a regular basis. We need your help with this service, especially if you have children using these areas. As we prepare for Alessandra’s parental leave which is scheduled to begin at the end of November, we need volunteer support in these areas… Volunteers will be well-prepared and well-resourced for these roles!
