Mestiza-Latina, author, and activist, Clarissa Pinkola Estes, has written, “Ours is not the task of fixing the entire world all at once, but of stretching out to mend the part of the world that is within our reach… What is needed for dramatic change is an accumulation of acts, adding, adding to, adding more, continuing.” As UUCT settles into its 7th decade of existence, how are we as a community still “stretching out to mend that part of the world within our reach” and how have we been transformed by it?
