Every 3rd Sunday, we invite you to GLOW Sundays, a special series inspired by Growing a Beloved Community: 12 Hallmarks to a Healthy Congregation by Tom Owen-Towle. These services illuminate how we foster a community where all feel valued, seen, and empowered to participate in our collective journey.
This service will explore the hallmarks of Encouraging Unity Amidst Diversity and Balancing Justice with Joy. As Owen-Towle reminds us, “A healthy congregation finds harmony, not by demanding uniformity, but by embracing our differences with mutual respect and a common purpose.” In this spirit, we will reflect on how we celebrate our differences while remaining rooted in shared values, and how we sustain our justice work with joy, resilience, and mutual care.
Whether you are a lifelong UU or exploring our faith for the first time, GLOW Sundays offer a space to connect, reflect, and co-create the beloved community we aspire to be. Join us as we deepen our commitment, embrace one another with gratitude, and listen more fully to the voices that shape our collective future.
