This multigenerational Blessing of the Animals celebrates the inherent worth and dignity in every being, inviting us to recognize the profound experience of loving a being not of our own species and, so often, a being with a shorter lifespan than our own. We will uplift and bless the companion animals in our lives and the animals that inspire awe and wonder in us, and we will commemorate animals we have loved who are no longer with us. Please bring photographs or names of the animals you would like to include in this special service.
