Sixteen UUCT lay leaders were called together by outgoing Board President, Alana “Kay” Katherine Stuart-Tilley on Sunday, July 2 to discuss sharing the ministry of the congregation after Rev. Holly Brown ends their time as our Interim Minister and before we are able to secure a Contract Minister.

This gathering was the first of many that will bring together lay members. Together we shared ideas about how to proceed with pastoral care, worship service coordination, BIPOC, finances, stewardship, staff support, communications, and the Committee on Ministry.

GLOW is shaking up the old ways of doing things and experimenting with some new ways.  All lay members who are energetic and committed to assisting UUCT to GLOW are welcome to attend our next gathering on Sunday July 23 beginning at 12:30 pm.
