This month’s meeting will be another somewhat unconventional meeting for us all in that we will be hosting a post carding party and further discussion about our church’s decision to proceed with UUA’s Climate Justice Revival on October 5th and 6th.

The post carding party will be for all those that wish to finish up their round 1 post cards so that they will be ready for mailing September 15th to the 30th.

While that’s going on, and likely in parallel, we will be having further discussions about UUA’s Climate Justice Revival the church will be hosting for our members on October 5th and 6th . The two-day event is designed to bring our congregation closer together and fortify our resolve to put all our social justice muscles to work to address climate justice as it affects those in our congregation and those in our community. We will be going through the Task list for the event and the Volunteer Needs list to present the extent of the needs required to pull this off in an effective manner. In a word or two that means there will be something for everyone to do to participate and help make this an engaging and fulfilling experience for all that attend. Toward that end of the meeting, I will be sharing a few resources with everyone to provide a bit more familiarity with just what will be involved.
