Purpose:

Operate and provide technical assistance and training to volunteers for an in-house and online multi-platform AV system for Sunday services and other functions.

Compensation:

• Anticipated work will consist of an average of five hours per week. Available in-person to support Sunday morning services and other church events.
• Hourly rate of $17.52 to $19.47, commensurate with experience

Responsibilities:

• Work with volunteers to set up and operate, or assist in operating the sanctuary AudioVideo system for in-person and live streaming Sunday worship and video conferencing for other church functions.
• Work with S&L Integrated Systems and other consultants, vendors, and support team volunteers to understand and support the installation and operation of the multi-platform system for streaming, video conferencing, and providing in-Sanctuary sound and video services.
• Develop manuals for operating the components of the multi-platform AV system including in-house essential step-by-step instructions as needed. Train staff and volunteers on the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting for the system for Sunday services, concerts, video conferences, and other church related activities.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience with operating hardware and software components of a multi-platform AV system.
• Familiarity with live streaming and video-conferencing platforms including Vimeo and Zoom.
• Ability to clearly, respectfully and cordially communicate and interact with staff, volunteers, church members, visitors and AV consultants.
• Simple live sound audio setup, including, but not limited to, mic, a digital audio mixer, basic audio routing.
• Ability to troubleshoot AV multi-platform equipment.
• Understanding of UUCT principles and ability to work in support of essential UUCT values.
