It’s possible to be part of UUCT’s Welcome Ministry from home! There are two opportunities.

· One person: Assembling our first-time guest packets. The packets are even more important now, enabling us to hand one to each new guest and avoid multiple people handling materials at the guest table. The assembling can be done at home at your leisure after picking up the materials at the church. The finished packets can be dropped off at the church during the week or on Sunday mornings.

· Two people: Serving on our on-line Sunday Service Welcome Team one Sunday a month. When we move to hybrid services with a limited number in person in the sanctuary and the rest of us on-line, we’ll need one on-line person for the first Sunday of the month and one for the third Sunday. Welcome team members welcome attendees, particularly guests, before the service, and then facilitate social time afterwards, being attentive to including in the conversation any guests who stay on. Team members also record the number for on-line attendance and the names of any guests present. It’s always possible to trade Sundays with another team member if needed.
