Would you be willing to share your technology knowledge with others in the congregation on an as-needed basis? Members have expressed interest in training and support with technology. Specifically, we have heard of these needs:
- Using Zoom (both as a participant and as a meeting leader using the Church Zoom account),
- Using Google docs, which the Board and the many committees use to store and share documents, and
- Helping committees with getting technology set up and coordinated during a meeting.
Can you help?
The Leadership Development team is compiling a list of people willing to be contacted when individuals or groups in the congregation need support with technology needs. If you are willing or have questions, please email Nominating@uutallahassee.org and let us know what areas you would be willing to help out with (being a person whom people could reach out to for help with Google docs and/or Zoom; being a tech support person for specific meetings, or both).
The Leadership Development team is also compiling training resources on these topics, and may offer an in-person training in the future.
