Fiscal year 2024-25 ended in June with pledge income of $23,696 that was almost $2,900 over the  monthly budget. Current year pledge receipts are 96.3% of annual budget when prepaid pledges are  included. Since June 30 was the end of our fiscal year, it was time to record income from the Endowment Fund that was needed to balance the budget, up to the $55,770 authorized. That amount, shown as part of other recurring income, was $48,584. Other recurring income, excluding the Endowment Fund transfer, was $992. Total budgeted income for the month was $73,273, but would  have been $24,688 without the Endowment Fund transfer, or about $2,300 over our monthly budget. 

June’s expense total was $24,330, or 90% the monthly budgeted amount. Year-to-date expenses for the Administration and Minister categories ranged from 2% to 4% below their respective targets.  Religious Exploration was 16% below target. Building and Grounds YTD expenses were 9.7% above target and were kept below 10% of target by delaying payment of the June utility until July. Music expenses were only 23% of annual budget due to the music director vacancy. Committee YTD expenses were 77% of annual budget. The total of all year-to-date expenses was 87.6% of annual budget, or 12.4% below target. For June the budgeted income exceeded expenses by $47,943, but when the Endowment Fund transfer is excluded, expenses exceeded income by $642. For the fiscal year expenses exceeded income, again excluding the Endowment Fund transfer, by $48,584, thus requiring the transfer from the Endowment Fund of the same amount to balance the FY budget. 

The Endowment Fund balance increased by 4.2% in June to a current balance of $1.569 million.
