Love Thy Neighbor: Inviting in “The Stranger”

Inspired by Valerie Kaur’s book *See No Stranger*, this worship service invites us to expand our imaginings and understanding of love, community, and inclusion. Kaur’s message of revolutionary love calls us to see others as part of ourselves, and to actively welcome and embrace difference. In this service, we explore what it means to widen our circle of compassion and hospitality, moving beyond mere acceptance to true kinship. Through music, readings, and shared stories, we will reflect on how we can nurture a community that embodies a broader, deeper welcome—a welcome that transforms both the giver and the receiver. Join us as we engage in the spirit work of building a world where no one is a stranger, and all are seen, valued, and loved.
