Linda Starkweather presents this service about the common ground we share: For fifty years I have been drawn to the work of cultural anthropologist, Earnest Becker who wrote Denial of Death, and who’s theory is that the fear of death is the primary driver behind most of human behavior including the baffling and unprecedented chaos that we are currently witnessing. We will look into the many ways in which this fear influences our lives and consider the profound insights his theory may have when exploring the human condition.
