Florida State University students are traveling to Guatemala on a medical mission trip to work alongside local doctors in fields such as optometry, dentistry, and nutrition. Together, they will provide much-needed healthcare to children and adults who often lack regular access to medical services. This trip reflects a shared commitment to fairness and compassion, helping to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to live a healthy life. Working with local communities, students embody values of cooperation and understanding across cultures in this experience which promotes kindness, generosity, and a sense of shared responsibility.
