Hello Beloveds,
As many of you know, the end of my time at UUCT was established when I was hired as an Interim Minister for a two-year period. So much has happened during our time on this journey together and it is hard to believe that we are nearing the end already. We will begin separate journeys in August but I want you to know that I will always carry you in my heart and take what I have learned during our time together into my future ministries. Don’t worry, I will be here until July and we still have many opportunities to be together in the ministries of this congregation.
I have some exciting news to share about where I am going next. I spent this past week as a Candidate for Settled Ministry at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Clemson in South Carolina. On Sunday, April 30th the congregation voted to call me to be their next Settled Minister to start on August 1st, 2023. I am excited to be closer to family and to begin this new chapter in my ministry. It is a little bittersweet because we have to begin the process of saying goodbye.
This congregation moves forward in the second round of search for your next minister to assist you in your next phase of ministry. You are not alone in entering the second round – there are 11 other congregations going through this phase. There will be a different set of ministers in this round that may apply to UUCT that were not in search during the first round. I have faith that you all will find a minister that will help you achieve your goals.
May you be well, Rev Holly
