Hello beloveds!

My first month balancing Director of Religious Exploration responsibilities with Worship Leader responsibilities has been an exciting adventure! I am so grateful for the lay leaders who are eager to share, support, and serve our community. 

Participate in UUCT Worship! There are so many ways to participate in worship! We need Worship Associates, Chalice Lighters and Extinguishers, Greeters, and more! Folks of all ages are welcome to participate as they are interested and able. You are invited to join the Worship Co-Lab meeting on the first Tuesday of each month to learn more and help us plan the next month of worship. If you’re interested (especially if you don’t know how to begin), email me at religious.exploration@uutallahassee.org

Sunday RE and Nursery Updates We are expanding our childcare and RE team, and we’re preparing to begin a new curriculum, LEGO® ValUUes Children’s Curriculum, for our elementary-aged children (1st to 5th grade). This is scheduled to begin Sunday, 9/14. 

Information about updating registration will be coming out soon! 

Please consider being a RE volunteer to help on Sundays from 10:30am-12:30pm. I’m facilitating training throughout the next few months! 

Looking Ahead at the 2025-2026 Church Year As you may know, I’m pregnant! My baby is due in early December, so I am preparing to begin my parental leave in late November. 

If you’re interested in the following and would be willing to support while I’m away, please let me know!
