Happy 2024, folks! 

This month’s theme is Liberating Love, and we’ve got a great head start on the conversation! We spent a lot of time talking about love in Elementary RE these last few months, using the Love Will Guide Us curriculum as the basis of our Fall programming. 

The next two months will deepen that exploration as we center love with Soul Matters and Side with Love’s 30 Days of Love 2024. This works beautifully in conjunction with our Winter Giving Project, and starts off a new year of additional RE programming with generous, transformative love at the center.

We also have exciting news about Adult Religious Exploration! Starting in February, we will offer monthly Date with Death Club programming at UUCT. DWDC is a UU curriculum which “explores mortality in community.  DwDC is an opportunity to learn, share, and deepen your own understanding of what death means to you and how you want to approach death — particularly your own.” If you’re interested in participating (and/or joining our DWDC Facilitation Team), please fill out this brief interest form!

If you’re excited about any of these RE offerings, please consider giving the gift of your time and energy to RE. Your support helps more than you know! We always need help with the kids on Sundays from 10:30 – 12:30, and we’re also seeking childcare volunteers for some Monday and Thursday evenings.
