Chat With Your Board

As we have announced before, your UUCT Board wants to hear from you. We recognize the importance of 2-way communication, and we want to make it as easy as possible.

On the fourth Sunday of each month (March 22 nd this month), a Board member will have a table on the veranda after church. We hope you will stop by to ask questions, share ideas, voice concerns, and get to know your Board members. Open dialogue is our goal. If you address something that we don’t know at the time, we promise we will check on it, do research, discuss it with other Board members, and respond as best we can. Honesty and openness are our goals.

Just to help generate your thoughts and questions, here are some topics you may want to address:

I have an idea for a Sunday Service, or I might like to help with Sunday Services. Who should I talk to? Or how can I join the choir?

I would like to form a special group or activity at UUCT. How can I do this?

Will we have a Minister at UUCT in the foreseeable future?

How can I get to know more people at UUCT?

What does it mean to be a “member” of UUCT?

How can I help at UUCT, but without joining a committee?

Of course, you do not have to wait for the fourth Sundays to talk to the Board or a member. The Board meeting is held on the 4th Thursday of each month both in room C and on Zoom. These meetings are open. If you have a special topic to discuss, please contact me, Annette Pearce, before the meeting. Also, Board members wear a ribbon attached to their nametags so you can identify them. Please talk to anyone of the members at any time. We are here for you.
