Capital Area Justice (CAJM) News

Twenty-four UUCT members have committed to being CAJM network members! CAJM is a coalition of 20+ congregations. Network members commit time and money to bring about social justice in our local area. They work together to make our community just for everyone.

This year, CAJM will continue to work on stopping gun violence, but members will also focus on food insecurity, immigration, and mental health. Network members will delve deeper into these topics and propose proven strategies to our elected leaders

We are kicking off research on Tuesday, December 9th, where we will focus our topics and plan the work ahead. This very important meeting will be from 6 to 8 pm at Jacob Chapel Baptist Church at 2333 Lake Bradford Road. When the research is completed, CAJM will be ready to develop strategies for action.
