A Change Is in the Air

As usual, change is the only thing that stays the same. Along those lines, it has become apparent that Ed Oaksford, who has been coordinating our Green Sanctuary activities at the church has become involved in other organizing activities that have resulted in him focusing his efforts elsewhere in other areas of environmental justice in the community at large, that were actually spawned from the Food for Thought group that met here at the church for over 4 years.

To be more specific, Ed has taken up a leadership role in a new Building Healthy Communities chapter here in Tallahassee and it dovetails nicely with the work his wife is doing as a Food for Life instructor for the Physician’s Committee for Responsible Medicine.

Therefore, the Green Sanctuary coordinator slot will be vacant until someone steps up. So, if you’re interested in taking on that role let the church administrator know so the Green Sanctuary material can be transferred over to you.
