Governance
The Unitarian Universalist Church of Tallahassee is an independent member of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA). The UUA is the central organization for the UU religious movement in the United States. Each member congregation governs itself.
We elect volunteer board members at an annual meeting each spring. A Nominating Committee prepares a slate of candidates for open board positions.
The board works with committees responsible for different aspects of governance, including finances, membership, personnel, and strategic planning.
Information about the next board meeting is shared on the Events calendar. Members and friends of the congregation are welcome to attend and to address the board.
