In this lay-led service, we will explore the meaning of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) through a Unitarian Universalist lens. What do these values truly ask of us as individuals and as a faith community? How do they call us to deepen our commitment to justice and belonging? We are honored to welcome Rabbi Catriel Garland, who will offer a unique perspective as a Black Jew, sharing insights on identity, intersectionality, and the spiritual call to inclusion. Through readings, reflections, and shared wisdom, we will examine both the challenges and the transformative potential of DEI. Join us in creating a more inclusive and compassionate world, starting within our own beloved community.
