The Practice of Invitation: One That Isn’t Always Easy

How do we create space for quiet in a world full of urgency? Inspired by Martha Postlewaite’s “Clearing,” this service explores the spiritual practice of making room for reflection and receiving the world’s gifts. We’ll reflect on the balance between doing and being, and the often uncomfortable task of inviting others into community. Together, we’ll explore why sharing how church impacts our lives can feel vulnerable, and how embracing this discomfort can lead to deeper, more authentic connections.
