The SUUSI (Southeast UU Summer Institute) catalog is out!!  It’s chock full of all the information you need to plan your adventure at Western Carolina University (WCU) in Cullowhee, NC, July 16-22, 2023.  You’ll find lots of workshops, activities, nature trips, worship, concert hours, artisans’ bazaar, community time, concert hour, night life, sports & games, and more; along with opportunities to deepen our relationships and strengthen our commitment to being the Community of Care we aim to be through renewed focus on our shared Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiative.  There is programming across age groups and interests, including space for those who just want to hang out on the beautiful WCU campus!

Cullowhee is tucked in a valley amidst the Blue Ridge Mountains in the ancestral home of the Cherokee Nation.  WCU offers a beautiful and accessible campus close to the Pisgah and Nantahala National Forests and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

SUUSI’s mission is to provide a one week experience evoking the best within us, in concert with UU principles.  SUUSI offers the opportunity to share an intergenerational environment of love, personal freedom, ethics, and joy in an intentional, nonjudgmental community.
