UUCT Welcomes International Storyteller David Novak

David Novak, founder of “A Telling Experience”, will bring his entertaining, engaging, and interpretative stories to UUCT on Saturday, October 21, 2023, for a special evening performance from 6:30 to 9:15 p.m.

For those wondering what to do about dinner, please arrive by 5:30 p.m. to enjoy pasta and salad prior to the event.

The early part of the evening’s performance is geared toward families while the later half will highlight adult stories and reflection

  • 6:45 – 7:45 pm Families: More Rhyme Than Reason” David Novak shares his original and whimsical stories for the whole family, with homespun fairy tales, finger-plays, string games, rhymes and riddles.
  • Door prizes and desserts are available during intermission.
  • 8:15 – 9:15 pm Adults: “Between Heaven & Earth” David Novak explores the mythic imagination animating the life of a storyteller with insights into ancient stories and ponderings for the present.

    $27 per family
    $12 per person
    Please bring a donation of a dessert/fruit to share during intermission

Pre-sales for this event start in October. You can pay online using PayPal or Venmo or check with Bonnie or Marty on the veranda after church on Sunday, October 8 and 15.

These are meant for donations to UUCT. Both PayPal and Venmo allow you to type in a note. On Venmo you MUST type something in “What is this donation for?” Simply write “David Novak – 1 or 2 tickets, $12/$24: or David Novak, 1 family ticket, $27”.

Storyteller David Novak joins us on 10/22 to share a spooky story with a heartwarming twist. Perfect for all ages, this service will celebrate those we have loved and lost. Be prepared to play! We will create a special craft in honor of our most precious loved ones.”
