On this special Sunday, we formally invite our newest members into covenant with this congregation. The presence of new beloveds in our constellation of membership transforms each of us in this sacred community. As we celebrate and renew our commitment to membership at UUCT, we affirm Octavia E. Butler’s wisdom: all that we touch, we Change. All that we Change, Changes us. The only lasting truth is Change. We also hold space in this service to honor those who have mothered us and the mothering we have done.
