Rev. Holly Brown and Robin Gray invite you to join in any or all of five sessions to inspire building the Beloved Community in our midst.
- Saturdays at 2:00 PM – May 7 to June 4, UUCT Campus
- Wednesdays at 6:30 PM – May 11 to June 8, Zoom
Each session will require only about 20 pages of reading from Beyond Welcome, edited by Linnea Pearson.
— The first session considers who is invited into deeper relationship in the congregation and who remains on the periphery; and why.
— The second session focuses on the needs and experiences of children, youth and all families as they find connections (or fail to find them) in UU communities.
— The third session helps us to identify the physical and social barriers to connection and acceptance.
— The fourth session examines our many hopes for worship that has fully engaged participants.
— The fifth session asks how love and harm might be shared in our community; and invites us to imagine how UUCT can become a “multiracial, multicultural, theologically and generationally diverse spiritual community.”
