With all the rain this summer, our Memorial Garden has been inundated with more plants than are needed. We could use a few more dedicated weed-pullers and plant trimmers to help keep things in control. If you have some spare time on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or the second Saturday of the month (workday), please mark your calendars to spend time in the garden. The best time to clear weeds is from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Ask a friend or another member to come with you; it is a great space to meditate with the flowers and the butterflies. Bring work gloves, garden tools, a hat and some water.
