On February 16, 2025, a Congregational Meeting was held to vote on the Asking Budget for 2025-26 and to share information regarding planning for UUCT ministries in the future.
UUCT bylaws (Art. X. Sec. C) required a quorum of forty percent (40%) of the Qualified Members for this meeting because the Asking Budget includes the withdrawal of endowment funds. There were not enough members present (in person and online) to meet that requirement. Thus, we were not able to approve the transfer of money from the Endowment Fund or adopt the UUCT 2025-26 Asking Budget.
Based on the input and support from members present, this Congregational Meeting will not be rescheduled. Instead, the Congregation will vote on the transfer of money from the Endowment Fund and to adopt the UUCT 2025-26 Final Budget on May 18, 2025, which is the next scheduled congregational meeting.
